  17. I've seen a few such requests, and either the message is coming from the 
  18. software or the people asking have their terminology backwards.  USR modems 
  19. always report DCE speed and I can't find a documented command to make it 
  20. report DTE speed in stead.  If you're seeing DTE in a message, then it must be 
  21. the software which is creating the message.
